About J. Becher & Associates
The employees of J. Becher & Assoc., Inc. represent the company's most valuable and important asset. They constitute the front-line channel of communication between our customers, vendors, and the community at large. The degree of success that the company attains is determined by the sum total of the individual success of each employee.
J. Becher and Assoc., Inc. was created by Jerry Becher and Ron Freeman. The company was incorporated in the fall of 1987, with Jerry and Ron holding other full time jobs. We successfully completed our first commercial project in Lakeville that winter. Ron left Dunwoody Industrial Institute in the spring of 1988 to begin full time management of the company.
The Code of Excellence is a program designed to bring out the best in our construction members and demonstrate to our customers that IBEW members:

In January of 2000, our company experienced its first changing of the guard. Ron's daughter Cami purchased his share of the business. Cami had been part of the administrative personnel of the company since 1990. Another change came in 2004 when Cami sold her share to Bob Welle, as she left to pursue other business interests.
J. Becher and Assoc., Inc. joined the Minnesota Electrical Association in 1989, the Electrical Council of the Associated Builders and Contractors in 1990, our local IBEW 292 Union in July of 2000, NECA in 2006, and the Builders Association of the Twin Cities in the summer of 2007.
Today, J. Becher and Assoc., Inc. is listed on the MPLS/St. Paul Top 25 Electrical contractors list, with Jerry and Bob continuing to drive our company to new heights.
We have enjoyed tremendous success by participating in building churches, banks, and numerous other commercial buildings varying in size. Our residential division wires hundreds of new homes in every corner of the metro area annually. In the spring of 2007, we added a new low voltage division to our company. The low voltage division handles such tasks as structured wiring, security, multi-room audio, CCTV, card access control, central vacuum systems, and full home automation systems.
J. Becher and Assoc., Inc., strives to stay on top. We have a special ability to adapt to changing markets, products, customers needs, and technology. Our technicians have ongoing training to always stay on top.
