Journeyman Service Electrician
Compensation: $50.74-52.00 per hour
Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Full Time
Pre-Employment Requirements: Drug screening, work simulation exam, motor vehicle record review, background check.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prove exceptional customer service while performing field service duties.
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, systems, lighting and components in residential homes and buildings.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Replace conduit and wiring as needed.
- Replace circuit breakers as needed.
- Submit field reports and other required documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong and Effective Communication Skills
- Extensive knowledge of the electrical code, systems, and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and scope of work.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:
- Minnesota Electrical License
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
