One Good Deed
Scarf Bombing 2020
What a great day volunteering in the Twin Cities! BIG thank you to our friend, Michelle, with Frana Companies for organizing this entire project for our group! With the help of 75 volunteers, we were able to distribute 120 boxes of donated coats, hats, mittens, scarves, blankets, hand-warmers and food to those in need of it, both physically and emotionally.

What is Scarf-Bombing?
Scarf-bombing is the act of placing scarves and other cold-weather items for people to take, in a general area, like a park. The items are available to anyone who needs them. There’s no hassle, no stigma, no forms to complete or qualifications to be met; just warm items for those in need. Each item comes with a tag explaining that the item is not lost, but they’re for anyone to take who may need it. They offer warmth, comfort, and hope to the recipient; letting them know that someone cares.
