Galaxie Library- Apple Valley

Brennan Companies chose J. Becher & Associates as the electrical contractor for the Galaxie Library renovation in Apple Valley! The library, which opened in 1990, has not received a full remodel since it opened. The purpose of the complete remodel is to create a facility that optimizes staff effectiveness in providing a better customer experience.

J. Becher & Assoc. Providing High Voltage Electrical and Installation

The upgrades include updating the infrastructure for upcoming technology needs and creating space that can be more functional for existing and new functions. A children’s area, teen area, general seating and meeting spaces, staff work stations and lockers are a few of the many additions to the library. The project is scheduled to be completed around Labor Day 2018

More About the Galaxie Library Renovation

The Galaxie Library is now closed. An interim library is open in the Western Service Center. You can access the temporary library through the main Western Service Center doors. The library is on the left (south) side of the atrium.

Services available in the interim library include:

Holds and returns
Law Library
A small collection of popular titles will be available for adults
Printer and copier
Chromebooks may be checked out for use in the atrium
