Where can you find an ice rink, restaurant, full bar, and live music all in one place? The answer: The Igloo in Otsego! Inspired by owner Chris Gnetz’s love for hockey, this unique event center features a sports bar and restaurant overlooking an indoor ice rink where guests can have a beverage and lunch or dinner while watching youth and adult hockey league games. Gnetz chose J. Becher & Assoc. to wire the facility as well provide all low voltage systems including a massive 110” screen and projector, 27 55” LED TVs of which 10 were custom hung above the bar. In addition, J. Becher provided two digital sign monitors, JBL speakers, a multi-zone audio system, and security and surveillance cameras. An ElanG! tablet makes it easy to control all TVs, zones of audio, and security system, which can also be accessed via a web interface.

Gnetz says his mission is to help skill development within the community through the use of small area games while giving guests the ultimate entertainment experience. J. Becher & Associates is proud to be part of this unique venue.
